We work with your diocesan management team to develop your health and safety strategy and identify resources needed to implement it.

We can review your existing policies and procedures to prepare a gap analysis and structured action plan across your diocese, to promote your strengths and address weaknesses. 

Competent Person Service

Where you don’t have in house expertise, we act as your health and safety competent person.  

This service includes providing expert help and support to nominated individuals and an annual review of progress against aims and objectives. 

Health & Safety Strategy

We can advise on a practical and proportionate strategy for discharging your health and safety obligations across the diocese. 

We would then develop your health and safety policy, and support you to implement your strategy.  

Fire Strategy

We can support your diocese to develop a fire safety strategy to comply with legislative and insurance requirements.

This includes defining of roles and responsibilities in the context of fire safety and developing  arrangements for the implementation of your fire strategy.  

Operational Support

Our expert team of consultants are on hand to support parishes and other diocesan operations in all aspects of their health and safety.  

Health & Safety Helpdesk

Our helpdesk is designed to provide expert health and fire safety advice directly to your clergy, paid or volunteer workers when they need it. This service can also be activated to cover periods of absence for your regular support network. 

Site Visits

We are experts across a range of areas and carry out site visits and inspections for general health and safety matters or specific projects in areas such as fire safety, accessibility; CDM; feasibility etc.  

Fire Risk Assessment

Our expert knowledge of ecclesiastical buildings and activities ensures that our fire risk assessments address the unique features of Catholic premises and provide practical and proportional recommendations for you to take forward.   

Fire Assessor Support

We can also provide resources, guidance, and support to your own fire risk assessors. This helps to ensure consistent reporting when engaging multiple assessors, or where your chosen assessors have limited experience in catholic or church premises.
